      Talking

So only 4 weeks and 1 day after my original activation date, I suddenly notice in the middle of the afternoon that the weather plug-in on my squuezebox is showing information.

Rush upstairs, and hey presto! My "i" is green!

Now, I wonder if this has anything to do with the rant I had at them last night for it being so long........................

Well, first post and this seems as good a thread as any.

My activation date was 20th September. Still haven't been activated. Been told various dates by Sky, the most 'reliable' being yesterday. Got home from work - nothing, of course.

Phoned them up last night and I've now been referred to their 'service recovery team' or something and told I'll get calls about my case. I'd like to believe them but I really don't.

So, that's a month delay after my activation date and still no sign of when I'll get any access. This was a migration from Pipex who, of course, cancelled my account some time ago now.

      Awful.

      Hi,

I just got this too from sam knows...

Congratulations, you are in a broadband enabled area.
However, your line is currently unbundled by an LLU operator such as Be, Bulldog or Easynet. Moving to another provider may require a cease and re-provide, which may result in loss of service for a few days.

My activation date was 28th September. Am I to understand from this that my line has been connected all this time? Just not 'Activated' - whos responsiblility is this?

      thanks..
