      Moving to Sky

I am a Sky TV customer and am considering moving to Sky broadband, I am currently with Talk Talk and TBH have no complaints but I now have the option of moving to Sky as they have unbundled our exchange and I would like to use Anytime plus.

      A few questions -

Does the price include line rental?

Will I keep my phone number?

Has anyone had problems moving from TT to Sky BB?

Will there be a set up charge as when I try the checker I get the message below, why do I have to pay Sky talk line rental and a set up fee?

      TIA.

      Re: Moving to Sky

Do you pay line rental to talk talk?
If so you may have to return your line to BT before moving to Sky.

However it looks like Sky can do this at a reduced price of 39 (BT charge 125 ish), this is because BT Openreach have to physically move your connection in the exchange.
Sky Talk Line rental is just the alternative to BT line rental as you will be put on Skys voice network.
      Not sure about your number.

The Sky broadband price does not include line rental, you can choose to stay with BT ( Maybe save by paying Line rental up front for 12months) or Sky,( depending on your starting point)

Yes. Sky check a BT database, which doesn't include TalkTalk lines.

      Re: Moving to Sky

Thanks to both of you for the help, do you know how long it takes from sending the update order to the line being switched over and do you have to pay the first month including the 39 fee in advance?
