      OK so we now have some extra results:

      In Master Socket - Not test socket:

      The main difference seems to be in the noise margin.

      I then put it back into the Master Socket:

      And the noise margin is very similar to the Test Socket results.

      For some reason the Sky BB speed tester no l onger recognises my ISP as Sky, no idea if that is relevant in any way or not.
      Oh and I have discovered this morning that one phone still has a filter fitted, again no idea if that makes any difference or not. The phone seems to work fine as it is the main phone in the house.

      Any further thoughts? Advise?

      The phone being plugged into a filter will make no difference. The voice frequencies have already been filtered, so it is just coming straight through.

      I seem to remember a post on here which reported that the noise margin in a Sagem failed to rise until the router was resynced. That may be what has happened to you.

      Unfortunately it looks like you are getting as much as your line can handle at the moment. Maybe when the weather improves, so will your speed.
