      D-Link Wireless Router Un-Recognizable

Been with Sky since September and until a couple of weeks ago had no problems with it.
However now none of the laptops of computers can connect to the wireless network as none of the computers are able to show the network on the list of available networks despite the router saying the wireless is working.
Can connect to internet via ethernet cable through router however despite all the login details being correct the router still isn't listed as an available network.
Tried using the Sky CD to help sort it out however every time it gets towards the end where it checks the connection and then crashes.
I have also reset the router and tried the old on and off trick numerous times to no avail.

I would be very grateful for any advice!

The CD is no more than a place to put you cup.

Log into the router and check that wireless is enabled and it is broadcasting it's SSID. If it is and you can still not connect it sounds like a duff one.

      Re: D-Link Wireless Router Un-Recognizable

Log into the router via 192.168.0.1. Username: admin, Password: sky. Click on 'set up'. Ensure 'enable wireless access point' is ticked. Ensure 'allow broadcast of SSID' is ticked. Change the channel from autoscan to something else. Apply at the bottom of the page.

If you're still unable to view the network, then log back into the router and change the SSID to something else and also try another channel. Apply that, of course.

Again, if all else fails, reset the router for 30 seconds.
