you visited a forum in your own time about your work?

You need to get out more.

Sad IMO but sure people who complain about a service they pay for going down 3 nights in a row is sad.

Seriously, you really are a **** most of the time on here.

I'd be ****** off too if something I was paying for kept dropping out for an hour, EVERY day.

      Agreed.

It dropped out last night again from 12.02am til 12.28am.

I'll give it a few more times then i'll ring up Sky and see what the beef is

Is there anything in your router logs that give a clue as to what's causing you to disconnect?

It just loses the PPP connection "LCP Down".

I'm thinking its something to do with the issues in Edinburgh recently. It's strange

Jog on, I'm more than helpful - I just occationally seem to rub someone up the wrong way. Some people take their Internet connection too seriously

Take it the OP still hasn't called Sky to ask if anything is wrong?

Re: Strange drop outs last 2 nights

If it is dropping out at the same time each night, then that points to some kind of interference. Maybe REIN caused by lights switching on/off or some other source. Is there anything in your house switching on or off at that time.

Have a look at this article from Kitz, she explains it and makes some suggestions to track it.-

Re: Strange drop outs last 2 nights

Seems to have stopped now. Definately wasn't anything on my side. The line kept sync, i just got a red internet light.

Probably due to the issues in Edinburgh recently
