      Is this right?

Hello everyone, thanks for some really great posts - though haven't figured out if I'm stuck with my lot or not.

I've moved to IG10 4BW, on an unlimited package, and was hoping for a good increase in speed due to being nearer the exchange, but I'm getting 3500kbps which is a bit disappointing (used to get 8500kbps)

Thing is, I don't fully understand the terminology of the speed checkers etc.

I'd be really grateful if someone could advise me if I've got the best out of my line?

      Thanks,

How long have you been connected, it can take up to 13-14 days to get up to full speed. Post your stats, preferably from the Test socket and your normal position.

      Hi,

Thanks for your reply, I took your advice and waited.

Amazing! It's now at ~9mb download which I'm happy with!

Thank you, and I should better be patient in future!
