      Talking Internet cutting off...

I wonder if anyone can help.

I had a problem with the router that when ever the phone rang, the Internet cut out. I ordered a new router, and that problems sorted, however. The Internet now cuts out every night at about 6ish. Can anybody explain what's up an why it's doing it?

      Cheers

Probably excessive noise on the line or internal wiring problems. Post your stats from the normal router position and from the Test socket and we will se if we can help. Can you confirm what router you have?

That's likely the issue. Get the router connected to the master socket, or even better, the test socket.

If you don't do as we ask we cannot really help.

Can you also confirm if you are using wireless and that it is the router which is loosing sync and not simply your wireless connection dropping.

It could very well be, internal wiring is probably the cause of 9 out of 10 connection problems. You should make an attempt to plug into your Test socket or it is impossible to diagnose whether it is your internal wiring or your external line that is the problem.
