Who Should I Get To Check The Wiring?

I am aware that though the speed problems (currently 1/4 of normal download speed, normal upload speed - not limited to 5pm to midnight) I am having are unlikely to be directly because of the wiring, I have been thinking about this for a while. I don't have a master connection under the faceplate and would like a faceplate with separate ADSL and phone connections to rule out such possibilities (saw a link elsewhere here on these faceplates). Should I call Sky and have them send someone out and pay for it, or...?

Thanks for any and all help!

You are honestly better off looking for someone in yellow pages to check your internal wiring. Sky or BT will charge you an awful lot more than you will pay someone private.

Just look for someone reputable, not a cowboy who will magically find lots of faults you don't have in order to send you a higher bill.

Makes sense and that's what I was going to do, but wasn't sure if it would have been better that Sky put someone on it, so they had a record of what was done.

      I'll phone around. Cheers.

Sky will send Openreach, who will tell you its all fine even if it isn't.

Then charge you anything up to 200.....
