      what should my speeds be?

      hi sorry if ive posted in wrong place 1st post,its been bugging me 4 ages as im paying for sky bband unlimited thes are my router settings which is the white netgear router from a good few years ago
      normal socket
      conn speed dwn-3064kbps upld-796kbps
      line att dwn56.5 db upld-34.5db
      noise margin dwn7.2db upld-8.8db

      master socket
      conn spd dwn-3067kbps upld-796kbps
      line att dwn-56.5db upld-34.5
      noise margin dwn-7.1db up-8.8db
      ive checked line speeds via exchange on your tut and it says 2mb sorry for sounding thick does that relate to my broadband speed as well,i just want to know should i get better speeds....please help confused

      You're doing ok for the attenuation. Take stats from the test socket (behind the master socket's faceplate) with just a filter and the short grey dsl cable Sky supplied.

      There pretty low, 3Meg is pissflaps sky are misleading if 90% of customers on Max/Unlimited "can" ? only recieve 300KB/Sec then they need to stop advertising speeds of 2Megabytes

      I suggest you learn a ilttle about the technology that you are advising about before you continue to make a fool out of yourself

      He really confirms my faith in the majority of the uk population, they know evrything about nowt lol
