Hello I have sky router in question, can you give me some recomendations to improve. My current stats
Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time
      WAN PPPoA 2682077 3659363 0 1634 6794 87:47:32
      LAN 149862 60869 0 335 38 115:50:41
      WLAN 4616457 3392929 0 8031 9243 22:28:18
      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 3898 kbps 412 kbps
      Line Attenuation 46.5db 27.1db
      Noise Margin 10.5db 20.5db

The noise has been the only thing to change has gone down and up. Sky have just changed me to ADSL2+ (14.10.10) and apparently put me back on the start up thing they use, nothing has changed though apart from noise levels.

Have you tried plugging into the Test socket? Post your stats from there.

      Re: Speed advice

when i did test socket figures were pretty much the same, i do know i am no longer on DLM as they confirmed this to me. They did inform me i was migrating to LLU the following day. I am dubious about chabging into test socket again as it will show a drop out and they may slow it. The following day no extra speed was gained. So still think its low, but this is the latest figures with router plugged into the main master outlet but not into the test socket side. ( Edited informationas follows Note this speed was after I was informed they configured manually after DLM to reach the stable speed its on now. The tech person said they tried 4600 sync but was not happy to put it on that so said at present the 4095 was max, but said it could possably go up after migration completed the following day, which it did not change)

Hi A good idea is to go to your my Sky log in and see if DLM is running. The reason it sound as if you have just moved over to Sky`s own Network SVBN

I doubt it, a couple of drops will not cause DLM to kick back in. If you have fixed extensions then it is definitely worthwhile plugging into the Test socket. If you don't have fixed extensions, ie, you only have one phone box fixed to the wall in your house, then it will not matter, the problem is other than your internal wiring.

If you have extensions, plug into the Test socket and post your stats please.
