      G.dmt, adsl, adsl2/2+

I have noticed that my router always syncs at 2976 / 800 kbps via G.DMT.

If I try to force a connection using ADSL, ADSL2 or ADSL 2+ the router will not sync.

Is this a case of Sky stopping me syncing with anything other than G.DMT.

I am using my own router so I am not sure if I can phone them !?

It will be because sky have set you to G.DMT and they have not basically turn on ADSL2+, just contact them and ask them to turn it on if you want to that is.

If you are on a long line changing it to ADSL2+ will probably make it unstable and force a lower speed. Post your stats for confirmation.
