Thumbs down My wiring is a mess

Ive been told by sky that there are many errors on my line, i havn't been able to set the internet correctly as i cannot connect my Sky TV interactive into my phone socket as it slows down my internet dramatically, somehow i have 2 phone sockets that are connected together, I think it might be time to call someone out to check whats going wrong.

Are you plugging your Sky box in through a filter? Even if you are Sky supply some low quality filters and others have solved this by buying a good quality filter.

Alternately, if you have an NTE type master socket, fit and use a filtered faceplate. These have good quality filters and you can then dispense with the filters on the Sky box and phones.

That splitter for the Sky TV needs to go into a filter before going into the phone socket

      The filters are fine
Sorry, they are obviously not fine when plugging the box in causes a reduction in speed. As said the filter must be plugged into the phone socket first. The box thing on the Sky box cable is not a filter, it is simply a splitter.

For reference, each phone socket (if in use) should have a filter in it before anything else
