      Question Sick of of my life (tried everything)

      We have sky broadband, I use the ethernet (computer) and my mam uses the wireless(laptop) and these are the sort of speeds we are both getting.

      [URL=httpwww.speedtest.net][IMG]httpwww.speedtest.netresult985331834.png[IMG][URL]

      It's supposed to be 10mb and the speeds are terrible it doesn't matter if we only have one using the connection at the same time. Im currently trying to the test socket but the connection still seems the same. I have tried switching the filters and i've even went as far as formating my computer.

      any clues as to what to try next?

      Re: Sick of of my life (tried everything)

      You have a long bad line, possibly with a fault. It is very difficult to get anything done about it unless you have noise on your voice line.
      What may help is if your line was switched to G,DMT, which often performs better on a long line than ADSL2+ which you are on now. Call Sky and ask them to try your line on G.DMT.
