Your noise margin went up quite a bit in those second set of stats. Did you change anything?
Just so you are aware, people can call and "badger" all they like, CST are now more or less being promoted as "back office", and we rarely are allowed to transfer through any more. We now have to inform the customer the issue has been raised and they will recieve a callback in up to 72 hours.

Oddly enough, whilst some tier 1 agents might not be fully aware of the line stats, some of us actually know what we're doing

Yes I got the 72 hour response. However the guy did have a look at my line stats and agreed it should be running faster so fingers crossed....

The attenuation has gone down as the mode has changed to G.DMT. It has probably not gone down that much, it is just the maximum the router can show on that mode. 608 upload shows it is on G,DMT.

A good agent will be able to get your speed up to 992-1024.

Thanks. I really hope that's the case as it's crawling at the moment!

Oh one more question. Does it automatically switch over from adsl2 to g.dmt as I've seen my line attenuation change from 69 to 63.5 a couple of times in the last week?

I did not think so, but I suppose the DLM may be sophisticated enough to do this. I always thought switching to DLM could only be done manually.

Can you tell me what Sky's target SNR would be?
