Am I going to be without BB ?

      Hi All,
Ordered Sky connect on 22nd September and was told I should receive an activation date and Router etc within 5 days. and connection would be within 14 days,

I did receive a welcome letter after a couple of days but then nothing.

I have checked the BT order and it gives a Due date of 3rd October but under appointment it says no date yet.

I dont mind having to wait longer to get connected but what I do worry about is lossing my connection to my exisiting ISP as any potential savings made by moving to Sky will soon be lost if I have to go into work everyday rather than working from home a couple of days a week as I do now.

Spoke to a rather dis interested guy in customer service who seemed to be upset that I had bothered him with such a trival problem. He just told me when BT updated the call with an activation date I would get my equipment etc.

Yes you could well lose your BB

I had no second letter from Sky (with an activation date) but the BT site showed a LLU activation of 28/09. I was activated 28/09 as per BT and lost my old BB connection but having no Sky router cannot now logon ....

Yep that seems to be the real problem now, lines being activated and no routers

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

Well, it's been nearly 2 weeks and I don't even see an activation date on that BT tracker site!

Not sure if it will be any more help but anything is worth a try.
