      Conexant/Broadcom

      Hi,

Can someone confirm that if you move to Sky Broadband without Sky Talk (ie non SVBN), will I be served better by using a conexant based router?

Will Sky be upgrading their older equipment to match the SVBN broadcom technology?

      Thanks

Yes the non SVBN is conexant based, as for whether they will upgrade it I have no idea doubtful unless the current stuff breaks to the point where it has to be replaced.

Great, I hope this means my conexant router will sync at higher speeds than it does on the Be broadcom network.

      Thanks

I tried an conexant based router and I gained 2Mb over the sky supplied router, well worth it I thought.
