      overall help and info please

Right so i have been trying to find out what exchange im on some searches come up with wwcran (not llu) and some say wwnewq (llu), im on sky unlimited and have a stupidly slow speed about 2mps.

      These are my stats

so is this the best speed i can get on this line.

i have spoke to sky before and they said my line is maxed.

if i'm on wwnewq (llu) i should be getting at least 8mb and about 3.5mb on wwcran (not llu)

      so a little guidance please

You are on an LLU exchange.

Can you get your stats again from the TEST socket:- How to test your ADSL in the Master Test Socket

At the moment you are gettin all you setup will allow.

It's not necessarily the sync speeds that are important at this point - it's the noise margins. Are you using an extension socket for the broadband at the moment? If so, then that's likely your issue. Move the router to the test socket (unscrew the master socket faceplate) and plug the router directly into there and re-take the stats.

...and please post them. We cannot help you if you just say they are the same. If you have extensions in your house they will not be the same.

Not a lot better, but it is better. The higher sync and noise margin show you are probably capped at 2400kbps and that the internal wiring is interfering with your connection. To be honest I don't think Sky will do anything for you. You could check at a quiet time on the line in the morning and see if your noise margin has risen up to around the 10dbs mark. If it does, call Sky and they should be able to raise your speed up above the 3Mb mark. Unless you have an obvious fault on your voice phone, lots of excess noises, I doubt if they will be able to do much more.
