Hi looks like you have internal wiring issues. Have you changed anything prior to the problems you started to have. you could try changing the Microfilters in case there is a faulty filter. If there is anyway you can do the How to test your ADSL in the Master Test Socket it will show the stats at the master socket. If they are good then it has to be an internal issue.

      Re: serious internet problem

To echo onto what Steve has said, plugging the router into the test socket is the best thing you could do at this point. However, if you can't do that, then try the following:

      - Unplug every device in the house; this includes filters, phones, splitters etc.
      - Grab a microfilter (a different unused one if you have one handy) and plug it directly into the master socket. Then plug the short grey dsl cable Sky supplied into the filter and then into the router.

So, it will simply be the following:

master socket > microfilter > router.

No splitters or other devices, just the filter, grey dsl cable and the router.

Once you've done that, wait for all the green lights to come on like normal, re-take the stats and post them back up.

Also, one last thing - when you say you have noise on the landline, what kind of noise is it? Crackling, popping, whistling?
