Hi how long have you been having this problem. Have you tried resetting the router.

Push a pen tip or the end of a paper clip into the small hole on the back of the router by the power input. Hold it in for about 10 seconds and the router will reset to factory defaults.

Hi the reason for the router factory reset to see if it connects at the routers default settings.
      Were you getting around 6mbs.
would turning off mains also reset it though
It will not reset the router to factory settings.

you need to do a http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/view-routerstats.html to see what the difference is if you can post the stats on your next post.
