Question Max Package Ordered But A Question

Just ordered the Max package with my unique code from the e-mail and also supplied Sky with a migration code from my current ISP. All went through fine and was then told I'd receive the modem within five days, just plug it in and I'd be up and running????? I have to say I did question this and asked for the actual date the line would be migrated to Sky but the sales guy said "No, the day the modem arrives that's when the line is switched".

For me five days seems a tad quick for BT to physically switch the line over to Easynets/Sky's LLU connection. Can someone who has switched tell me what there experience was and wether an actual migartion date is detailed with the documentation/welcome pack that comes with the router.

      Cheers

      Nathan

i would expect anything up to 10 days after you recieve your welcome pack but it should say in the letter you get with your welcome pack when your connection is to take place

Hopefully once we have a couple of members who have signed up and then connected, we will have more of an insight into the procedure.

Also we are still trying to obtain contact with SKY BB so as they can offer us information, which is beneficial to the users.

It would be nice to have a couple of the staff taking part on here

Smile Orderd on 10 Aug up and running on the 18 AUG

I orderd the mid package on 10 AUG and I am now up and running all seems well at the moment. The only problem was that when bt enabled my line it seemed to kill my phone line. BT had to send an engineer out to the exchange to fix the problem.

When I ordered mine(last friday) I was told I'd get the router within 5 days and my line would be switched over within 10. Still no sign of the router yet.
