    Router Damaged?

    This is a discussion on Router Damaged? within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; Thought you said there wasnt any crackling on the phoneline? if there is then the router may not be faulty, ...

      Thought you said there wasnt any crackling on the phoneline? if there is then the router may not be faulty, and if I was a betting man I would say you will get a Dlink.

      There was a batch of routers ordered from around 28th August to 3rd Sept that never appeared to have been despatched from the depot and have had to be manually re ordered. Currently things seem to be back to the usual 3-5 working days.

      I imagine they have got in a right mess with all the reorders and now trying to get back on track i expect like buses some customers will end up with two routers at once

      Keeping a eye out on ebay actualy for a used dlink, as its the only router I havent tested on Sky

      There is sometimes but it does not seem to affect the router and sometimes the drop outs occur when the phone line is fine. Rang up last Thursday and its not here yet as its only been 2 working days and they said 3-5. I will post back when I know, also the BT engineer will be here tomorrow, so hopefully I will know what the problem is by then.
