You will get better results on G.DMT, it won't be massive, but anything is an improvement over your current speeds.
I will try my brothers laptop download speed while mine is disconnected.

no, no and No. Your router is not geting 1.5 MBps its getting 1.5Mbps,

      1500 - 10% (150) /8 ( 1350 / 8 = 168.75) 168 is the downspeed you should be getting at a sync speed of 1500

      1024 Kilobits = 1 Megabit

      70Kilobytes per second = 560 kilobits

      Post your stats now

On my brothers laptop. It downloads at 110kBps with only his attached to it.
I just disconnected his laptop and my laptop is now downloading at 140kBps.
I will change the key so no one but me can get on to check.

Erm what? Which key are you talking about? The router pass or the wireless pass?

      WEP Key

I'm now going up slowly and reach 130kBps.
It's better but It's still 10 times lower than what I've been told.

      Please read my other posts.

to get 1000KBps you need to be getting a sync speed of around 9000Kbps

You will Never get 9000kbps at your current house on your current line

Will you post your router stats.
