Any reason why you cant just push the reset button on the back of the router to reset it?

Not got a cable therefore would not be able to access the internet on wirlesss again due to the lack of a new random wep code!

When you hold the button in and reset it to factory settings, the wireless key is reset to default, this key should be on a sticker on your router.

eh? I thought routers used WPA now.

All the sky routers use WPA, Not WEP. WEP is useless.

Either way, you would be able to change the password by wireless.

Re: Is it a standard Ethernet RJ45 cable?

The key would be a WPA key, you would only need the ethernet if you couldn't regain access via wireless after resetting it. The problem would be that you have the Sagem which no doubt will reset to auto and the first thing you would need to do is get it onto a proper channel number as a lot of the time auto creates a problem.

If you never changed the channel then a reset to default using the button will make no difference as to whether you can connect or not. The WPA key you require to make the connection after the reset is printed on the bottom of your router and additionally on a card which you should have received with the router.
