      As Paul pointed out the Auto channel setting can cause connection problems. You will probably find you get a better connection using a fixed channel which is not in use by nearby networks.

      You should also change your default WPA key to one of your own choosing. It does not need to consist of 8 capital letters, but can be any printable characters from 8 to 63 characters.

      Wifi Protected Access - Pre Shared Key - If your Sagem firmware has been upgraded you will have access to WPA2, you should use this if you have it.

      Wired Equivalent Privacy - Which it certainly is not and should not be used, unless you have devices which do not support WPA.

      If you have no ethernet cable, call sky and they will send you a replacement. You will be required to have one anyway should you ever call in with wireless issues.
