      Sky email account

I have only just moved to Sky Broadband, managed to configure a new business related email account using MS Outlook 2003, it is for a new company I am setting up from home.

I have been sending & receiving emails fine, but noticed that despite setting up the account under a .co.uk address, all of my emails from that account are from sky.com, took 45 mins & 2 calls for someone at Sky to tell me that they are unable to help as they do not support this package!

Despite 2 calls I still can't believe this is right and I wanted to see whether anyone out there might be able to shed some light??

By the way, shocking customer service culminating in the most arrogant person in cancellations, awful

On the Sky email system you cannot send 3rd party email without it showing your Sky email address. You need access to another SMTP server...

      Have a look here-

I am not surprised you got a frosty reception from Sky help, the use of Sky broadband for business purposes is forbidden by the T & Cs. I am surprised they did not point this out to you.
