      tech support no and what to do

      ok i need to ring tech support i have rang 3 times but the person who ans tier 1 i persume does not have a clue what do i ask for and what no do i ring thanks

      You have to go through tier 1 and they are there for a reason.

      yes all sorted now,rang tech support a really nice guy explained what the problem was he rang me back on my mobile,he said when i took the offer out 2 months ago to save 2.50 on b/b they did something with my line and altered settings he played about for a bit and these r my stats now well pleased

      From his numerous threads he has a noise margin issue, probably hasn't done as asked though and checked filters and test/ master socket though which is what Tier 1 will tell him to do when he calls.
      OP if you want to minimise the time you spend talking to tier 1 I would suggest you plug into your test socket (if you have one) and post a set of stats or your master socket. For the test remove everything from the line apart from the router, plug in a new filter onto the socket, plug your router in and reboot it. Post your current stats and a comparison set from the main/ test socket and we can advise what to do next.

      If those stats are current stats you still have the issue, please do as I have asked above as we need to see where the problem lies.

      thanks i had new master socket new adsl face plate and new router,but was still faulty so i rang sky for 4th time and now all sorted
