      Does this look right (speed)?

      Hi guys n gals

I am on the max package (16MB), and even using the master socket my stats are:-

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 6481 kbps 764 kbps
Line Attenuation 44.0 db 25.8 db
Noise Margin 6.7 db 11.5 db

I seem to get between 4-5MB on speedtests (www.speedtest.bbmax.co.uk)

I am using Long Eaton exchange and am about 1.5KM from the exchange (straight line).

Is there any chance I can get a better speed than I am currently getting or would I be wasting tech supports time if I tried?

      Cheers for the help

Cheers, I'll give it a try - it can't hurt!

Is it worth me getting an ADSL faceplate splitter if I get no difference in the master socket?
