Question Anyway of improving upstream/upload speed?

As you can see in my signature I have amazing download but rubish upload speed. I want a faster upload speed so I can start hosting more xbox games and start making youtube videos to upload.

Is there anyway possible to improve the upload without physically changing anything? And if not what other ways would work?

You'll need to post up the stats from the instructions within the link below:

Re: Anyway of improving upstream/upload speed?

......and your 'amazing' download speed from speedtest.net is a lie. There is no way you can download at that speed with a 13000kbps sync speed. Why don't people believe that this speedtester is inconsistent and inaccurate. Do a speedtest on - Sky User - Broadband Speed Tester for a more accurate measurement.

Try changing the filter, you may find your upload improves.

Re: Anyway of improving upstream/upload speed?

      That's more like it.

Change the filter and or plug into the test socket, see if your upstream noise margin increases.

If you really need a faster upload, the Sky techs may be able to fiddle with your line to give you a bit more, but it would be at the expense of download. Not all of them would be capable of doing this, but it may be worth a try.
