      Help! Completely bamboozled by my router!

      I'm having some problems with my router at the moment.

      I have two wired computers (PC1 and PC2) and two wireless laptops. Now, when I connect PC1 to the router via a cable the two wireless laptops works fine and everything's good. However, when I connect PC2 to the router as well the two wireless laptops gets dropped (they aren't even able to detect the router) but PC1 and PC2 work fine.

      If I remove PC1 from the router and leave PC2 connected; the laptops sometimes stays connected.

      I am completely bamboozled as to why this is doing this as in the past PC2 has worked fine in conjunction with the wireless laptops.

      PC1 = XP
      PC2 = XP
      Laptop1 = Vista
      Laptop2 = Win 7

      I've checked the IP addresses and none of the machines conflict.

      The router is a Sky sent router (Sagem with cable input sockets).

      I've disabled HomeGroup on the Win 7 laptop but that didn't resolve the issue. I've tried another Sky Sagem router (exact same model) and its the same problem.

      I can only assume it's to do with PC2 but I can not for the life of me figure out what its problem is!

      Please help!

      Thanks.

      Check for virus's on PC2 using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware would be the first thing to do. Verify PC2 isnt using a static IP address which could conflict with the laptops also.

      No virus' on PC2.
      IP address is not conflicting. They all use different IP addresses. Even if it was conflicting, it shouldn't knock out both laptops.

      It may not be your problem but I have seen a PC causing problems simply because it had a poor PSU. Try plugging the troublesome PC into a surge protector and see if that makes a difference.
