Did you move onto connect? Stats smell of connect.

SNR is just a shade under default, but you should be pushing more sync speed than that for the attenuation. Get your stats from the test socket and post them up.

      Re: Changed house

If you've moved house to a different exchange with no sky LLU, then putting you on connect is a possibility. Check one or both of the following to ensure what's going on.

Check whether you can do the following speed test:

      Test Result

If you can, then you're on connect. You can also confirm by checking:

      SamKnows - Telephone Exchange Search

Put in your postcode and search your exchange whether it has any LLU. If not, again that confirms you're definitely on connect.

      Re: Changed house

What exchange are you on? If it is the Glasgow Newark, your best move would be to cable if you can get it. If you cant get cable then you should go for one of the ISPs that don't throttle to the same extent as Sky.
If it is the Nottingham Newark, then you should find out why you are on Connect and how long you are likely to be on it? You should also demand a discount if you are not getting one.

      Re: Changed house

I have tried to plug the router into the test socket however I have got no luck as of yet, there is no wiring whatsoever in my test socket, I took off the faceplate and then tried to connect my router which did not work as expected. I am connected to the bleasby exchange at the moment I think and currently I am on connect.
These are the stats from a different socket :

Edit : I have just connected it back to the original socket and everything is the same, I am also noticing very rapid up and down connection speeds, e.g jittery gaming, speedtests etc, my connection seems to be all over the place .

      Re: Changed house

You are on Sky Connect which is one of the very worst broadband packages in the UK, it is way over capacity so does not have enough space for all it;s current users.

Nothing you do your end can cure it other than finding a better ISP that also uses the BT network, Plusnet is a good place to start if there are no other LLU suppliers in your exchange.

If you were put on Connect without being told, you should use the "contact us" section on Sky.com to let customer relations know.
