just to let you know, all was great! unfortunately emails is a problem.... they are hosting internally exchange server (bad practice) and they dont know who they bought their domain from so I could change the MX records to update to the new IP Address.

had to abort the full switch over.

hope that BT do not switch off the net tomorrow even though today was a go live date

      hmm.

what is the router ip address of the thomson supplied by opal to configure it? I am referring to the local IP Address.

192.168.1.1 does not work (it gives clients an ip of 192.168.1.x)

Connect to it, open a Command Prompt and type ipconfig /all and hit enter, this will show you the address of the router.
