      do i ring bt if i do quite line test their is noise on line not much but i can hear interfirence

      yes all sorted now,rang tech support a really nice guy explained what the problem was he rang me back on my mobile,he said when i took the offer out 2 months ago to save 2.50 on b/b they did something with my line and altered settings he played about for a bit and these r my stats now well pleased

      Don't be surprised if it falls over again, you've still got noise issues from those stats...

      They probably moved you to ADSL2+. Ask them to try your line on G.DMT (ADSL) it sometimes works better on long lines.

      hi chrisc, was these stats taken when you was in the test socket using filter or when you was using the prefilter faceplate?
      if you have crackling noise on the line,is it still there when you have just the telephone pluged in? then report that to your telephone provider to fix.
