      Unfortunately you may find it drops and reconnects at a lower speed later in the evening, when the line noise increases.

      GDMT is old fashioned ADSL1, for people with insanely long lines such as yours it may benefit you as ADSL2+ doesn't really work well on such long lines.
      I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!
