Sam knows says Talk Talk (CPW) is live. TalkTalk's own exchange search says it is LLU and the sales rep on the phone said it has LLU. The package I bought says upto 24mb but according to the sales rep and website I'm probably only going to see upto 8mb with est. of 5.6mb.

Having said that, we used to get 6.8mb with BT as it's a new build with new BT line. The only thing I can see is our exchange isn't 21CN.

I've just spoken to someone else on the phone. He confirmed my exchange is unbundled and it will be LLU. I then asked if it's upto 24mb and he said no it's upto 8mb. I then said that the lady ordered TT Plus with Speed Boost and he said yeah you can get upto 24mb but it will go up and down aroud 8mb

      I dunno, guess I'll see.

As long as they have the capability for 24mb on lines that can get it then you know you are on LLU. I was just worried that if it only had upto 8mb then they may be trying to get you onto he BT network.

      You should be fine then.

I just ran a check using TalkTalk's exchange checker with a house closer to the exchange and it was estimated at 14.4mb so I think it may well be upto 24mb.. I hope.

If it is, TT is the only ISP to do over 8mb here. It's also showing as "green" with a lot of capacity left.

Good news, I'm not sure how TalkTalk estimate the potential line speed but if it is the same as Sky you could easily see double what they say.

Back so soon? Yep. TalkTalk service was refused as "another provider is currently taking over the line". So after another 0844 call I had Sky Talk cancelled and I've now gotta wait for TalkTalk to remove me from their order queue and call me back to make another order in 2 days...
