Turned router off during 10day teat period

      Hi all,

I mistakenly turned off my router (new dlink) on the first night of having the broadband activated. Do I need to call sky to request that the testing cycle (10 days) start again?

      Thanks

I doubt it, it can take upto 72 hrs for DLM to start. Post your router stats.

When did Sky start supplying D-Link Routers, thought they were either Sagem or Netgear?

They have very recently started supplying Dlinks. It appears to be a modified version of the 2640 in a Sky corporate case.

Yeah that's right - it looks like a sky hd box only smaller - performance from the router seems to be good so far...

Which tool should I use to retrieve my stat's? I will post them up later tonight when I get back.

Re: Turned router off during 10day teat period

You do not need any tools to get the stats. If the firmware follows Sky's other routers, go to the main Status page and click the Show Statistics button. This should bring up the stats pane.

Re: Turned router off during 10day teat period

You have a very good line and should get 18mb once DLM has doine it's thing. Wait for 10 days and do not turn off the router unless you have too.
