      Re: Speed Decrease

Sky upgraded me to unlimited and now my speed has dropped to an almost unuseable level.

      Plugged in to test socket.

      Down 383k, line 63db, noise 3.8db
      Up 384k, line v41.5db, noise 13db

      Emailed Sky and no help.

      Phoned twice and no joy.

Trying to call now and been on hold for over an hour.

I have just about had enough of Sky. Nowhere to make a complaint that gets a response and phone help is only any use if you've got over an hour to be on hold.

Have even resorted to emailing Jeremy Darroch CEO to see if it gets their attention.

Has anybody here got any suggestions

      Thanks

Can you plug in the Sky router and get the stats from it. You would be best using it until you have this problem sorted to save any hassle.

With that noise margin you are only just hanging on to any connection, you won't get any faster. What is the voice side like???

      @ Jezzamk

You're on a long line with an attenuation of 63db so there's not gonna be much Sky can do about that but are those stats in the test socket with NOTHING else plugged in anywhere else in the house? Do other socket still have dial tone with test socket exposed?
