      Devolo Homeplugs Disconnecting

I'll get straight to the point, I have devolo homeplugs installed at home, they work fine for checking emails and browsing the internet but as soon as I try to download something or open certain webpages it knocks out the router(The @ light goes orange but only sometimes). When this happens I have to switch the router off and back on again.

      I have the Sagem DG934G.

I have searched the intetnet for a solution but haven't found anyone with a similar problem.

I've tried different power sockets and took the homeplugs back to the shop and replaced them but this didn't work

I emailed devolo support and received a email back in very very bad english, I had even less joy with the telephone support.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Are they directly into a socket? I've been looking into these today and noticed it isn't recommended to use these on a surge protector.

I doubt it's the homeplugs more likely the router/connection cant handle downloads (i've heard of this before) can you please post your router stats both before and after you start downloading a file?
Incidentally Sagem dont make the DG934G that's the netgear router, sagem make the F@st 2504. Which one do you have?
