Any line with 7db attenuation should have a big margin at those download speeds. Tried the test socket yet?

Possibly internal wiring interfering with the connection. Plug into the Test socket and try the stats from there. Also check that the set up is correct with a filter pugged first into the Master socket and into any other sockets in use. Everything must run through a filter, including Sky digiboxes. Note especially, that the thing supplied by Sky TV fitters is not a filter, it is a splitter and must be plugged into a filter.

Tried the test socket with router only.

      The SNR is 6.3

      Line Attenuation 7db

      Download is 5mb

      Ping 45ms

      Useless ping for gaming.

SKY connect isnt a good product to use for gaming though!
Your SnR is bad for the attenuation perhaps you should wait to see if the line settles a bit (new lines can have a period of settling before they get to there full potential)

In which case an ISP that doesnt offer a heavily throttled product such as PlusNet is a better choice

Dial 17070 from the test socket and do a quiet line test then, if you get any unusual noises then you can report it as a line fault.
