      Unhappy SVBN new service but attenuation poorer!

      Hi,
      Well I have this new "service" and noticed that recently my loading of pages seems to take longer. I checked the router stats which show the attenuation has increased from 59db (yes it was poor then too) to 62db.
      Stats as follows.
      first stats taken: 23/3/10 and the last today.

      Odd though that connection speed is increased
      Anyone have ideas as to if the change to service can alter attenuation and can it slow stuff down so noticeably?
      I also am on sky everyday but not yet "unlimited" just what they now call "Lite" - -until September anyway!

      You've been moved to adsl2+ which increases attenuation - nothing to worry about

      Your WAN uptime shows your connection has been 'up' for 18 days, so that may have been when your Mode was changed. It is possible that ADSL2+ is causing more errors on your line which could cause your connection to slow down. Although ADSL2+ is giving you a higher sync speed it is at the cost of a lower throughput. You could try resyncing your router by pulling the power plug out for a minute. This will clear the existing errors and may help the connection. If this does not help, you could try phoning Sky and asking them to put you back on G.DMT, which should give you back your previous performance.
