      internet problem, youtube very slow

      I'v been having problems with my connection, when i load video's on youtube they just keep buffering. iv never had this problem before so i done a quick google search and got told to clear cache etc so I did and still got the same problem. I went on to speedtest.net and pingtest.net and these are the results

      yes I'm using wireless and windows 7, sorry should of said. If your going to say use wired don't because it's not an option for me.

      Well, you're going to have to diagnose whether it is down to poor wireless by running a speed test via ethernet cable. If it is, then change channels on the router.

      It is probably a wireless problem and as said, checking with an ethernet cable is the only way to confirm. For a permanent solution you should consider Homeplugs, they are far faster and more stable than any wireless.

      In the mean time, download and use Inssider from the link below. Use it to discover the channels in use in your area. Choose a channel as far from those in use as possible. Remember no 13 is a usable channel.

      Looking at your stats you are syncing very low for your attenuation. With a decent external line you should be syncing at about 13-14Mb, maybe even more with a good line. Check your stats in the Test socket if you have one. If you don't remove the wire from terminal 3 on your Master socket. This is the ring wire and can cause problems with broadband. Remove everything else you have plugged into the phone circuit, plug in the router only using the cable supplied by Sky, take and post your stats.
