Sky + BT HomeHub + Quality

Ok im currently on BT Unlimited , which has no fair usage policy , Which is great as i can be downloading upto 200GB and Uploading the same each month. Now the service has been excellent but im paying quite a wedge for it. So i thought i would take my services to Sky to get it cheaper as im already with them for my TV. Heres a few things i need advice about.

      1. Line Quality - Is the broadband consistent?
      2. BT Homehub 2.0 + Housephone - Can this be configured to work with Sky broadband? I dont want to loose the functionality of it , a the Router i great , And the phone i pretty swish. Not to mention the 80 bar it cost me!
      3. Gaming - Whats there policy on gaming? is the latency bad at times so unable to game?

Now ive been told i cant have unlimited , I have to be on the 40GB allowance tariff due to there being no Sky exchange , They will be renting from the BT exchange im running off now. Does the 40gb limit also include uploading?

Is it just worth me staying on BT?

Don't get it, Sky Connect is quite literally the WORST BB service going at the moment...stick with BT or look into alternatives

Sky's only worth getting if you can get their LLU service

If you cant get on SKY's own kit and only have Sky Connect available dont bother it's severely throttled over peak times making it virtually unusable.

Stick with BT, as connect BB package with sky is not worth saving a couple quid for

Yes, but you would not have to worry about it, the service is so bad you would be struggling to get 40Gb through. Take the advice given and stay where you are.

Have a look at this thread if you are still tempted.
