      Swapped from Fast to interleave?!

      Hi All...

I needed help from you guys a few months back HERE

Well i seem to be having problems again!

I signed up for another 12 months of Sky BB on the 14th June.
I thought i'd just carry on getting what i was already getting but for 12.50 a month... But i was switched back to an ADSL2+ line

I was told that this is because i've gone from Sky BB Max to Sky BB Unlimited?
      Same thing different name...

I did actually get to speak to a CST guy this time who put me back onto a g.dmt line.
So i thought everything was back to normal, however, i have done a few ping tests, and my results seem to have risen.

I'll post my router stats after this. But i'm sure i used to be on fast, or fastpath?? and now i seem to be on interleave?

If i call sky, again, will i be able to request to be put back onto fast?? will asking for my max delays to be reduced work??

Thanks in advance for any info.

Sky don't use Fastpath - it was a glitch in the router stats...

IF, for some reason you were on it, you won't get back on as Sky can't turn it on again without getting in trouble...max delays to 8s will be fine

Re: Swapped from Fast to interleave?!

      Thanks for the reply.

I'll ask them to lower the max delays to 8ms then.

But if that doesn't get it back to how it was i'll mention that i used to be on fastpath & that i signed up for another 12 months of what i was already getting, but Sky changed it to interleave... not me.. worth a try maybe?!?

Re: Swapped from Fast to interleave?!

It is hardly worth a try as SKY dont use fastpath, anyone who sets it on fastpath for you will probably lose there job and I cant see anyone wanting to lose there job to do it

As said, if it was a mistake it's now corrected and won't be turned back...delays to 8 will be good enough
