      Re-flash Official Sky Firmware

      Hi Guys,

I recently flashed the latest DG-Team firmware on my DG834GT and was happy as larry however I have recently upgraded to the new 7.50 per month package and have just come off DLM again and it has left my line at a terrible speed and I have a SNR of about 20 so I know that I'm capped by the DLM...again. (PS. Yes the DLM has finished as this was around 20 days ago).

Anyway I need to call/email CST regarding getting the cap removed and I don't want them to reject me because I'm not using Sky's Official Firmware. Is there anyway I can re-flash to the Offical Sky one whilst I make the call to CST? And I don't believe that I have the disk from when I got SkyBB as that was well over 2 years ago.

      Cheere as Always,
      Steve

If your line has been messed up by DLM they won't worry about firmware, tell them you are on the test socket using a new filter but have noticed that since DLM your line speed is really low and your noise margin is high so it looks like DLM has messed up.

Will do, will they not attempt to check that though? My impression was that Sky had a backend into my router through their firmware so they could check the router stats etc.. If I ring up will they still be able to access them or will them simply not check?

I doubt they'll check but if you need to reflash the sky firmware you'll find it on the disk you got with the router under "Utilities" folder.
