      Re: Stats

Explain your physical set up as they are poor for the attenuation. Are you on an extension? How many telephone sockets are there on the line in use and how many filters have you got? Also if you have sky tv still attached to the telephone line are the boxes filtered (the splitter lead is not a filter that they supply with the television box)?

      Re: Stats

Unscrew the bottom of your master socket pull it out and then plug your router directly into the "Test Socket" behind that. Then repost your stats from there.

Not all users have the proper plate for a test socket, only do this if you have a plate with a split as shown here

      Re: Stats

So the question was and still is how does the equipment in use connect to your telephone line and where does your sky tv adaptor connect onto the line?

      Re: Stats

What's the first thing plugged into the telephone socket?

      a) A two-way white box that is blank and has no writing on it.
      b) A two-way white box that has 'adsl' and 'modem' and 'phone' on it.

Edit: Damn you, Paul, and your fast fingers ha.
