New Sky BB activated last wednesday. Speed predictions?

      Evening.

We had our BB connected on Wednesday evening, as things stand we have to current connection:

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 13305 kbps 921 kbps
Line Attenuation 15.0 db 6.4 db
Noise Margin 14.4 db 11.0 db

Is this the fastest we should expect?

      Thanks.

Ride out the DLM training period and you'll be looking at close to 20mbps.

I had my BB connected last tuesday and right now i feel like crying, my connection keeps timing out every now and then, can't even download anything
Unless you are just on holiday in Kenya at the moment, you will have a big problem connecting to UK Sky Broadband

If you do not get another change tonight, phone Sky and ask them to configure it manually. If you get a good support agent you should get 18-19Mb. It does not look like you will get much more on your upload.

Did you ever do what isitme suggested and ring Sky to manually configure the line? if not, do so to get the better speed.

So DLM is still working on your line? Give it a few more days and you should get a bit more.
