Re: PC loses connection to router

I'm having a similar problem with my router. Brand new two days old and connected to my PC through the ethernet cable supplied. Took a while to get it working as the installation cd kept crashing, then it started working on its own for a couple of days. Today I turn my computer on and it says no network connection. It sees the router and all the lights on the router are fine, but it just won't connect.
I'm using Windows 7, I'll try the ipconfig/renew tonight to see if that makes any difference.
Very annoying as the Laptop can connect wirelessly no problem.

Please do not make multiple posts on the same query, it causes confusion among those trying to help.
