Usually with Sky you forfeit any Offers you enjoy if you take out another Offer during the period the original Offer covered. Perhaps others can comment if this applies to Broadband as well as TV.

      Re: The new package

I would also like to know this. I signed up for Broadband Unlimited in January and currently have the following on my bill:

"10 GBP off Sky TV for 6 months with Broadband Unlimited"

Will this still apply if I register for the 7.50 per month offer?

all existing offers will still be active if you renew your broadband subscription. Line rental discounts and the like.

From http://www.sky.com/shop/broadband-ta...ges/unlimited/ (which is the page linked to from
http://www.sky.com/shop/broadband-ta..._new-broadband when you click on "more about Unlimited changes" for existing Sky Broadband Unlimited customer:

"What if I am currently on an offer for my Sky Broadband Unlimited Service?

Wait until your current offer has expired before moving to the new Sky Broadband Unlimited package - that way you won't lose the benefits you currently enjoy."

      Re: The new package

waiting until it's expired isn't required. Existing offers will be carried over.

      Re: The new package

Just pointing out what I know per the Sky website.

I had a 12 months free line rental offer on my Sky Talk which terminated a month early when I upgraded from Sky Broadband Everyday to Sky Broadband Unlimited. Since then, I got the 6 months free Sky Broadband Unlimited offer (which is actually a 10 monthly rebate on the TV sub). I'm waiting for that offer to expire in a few weeks before I do anything!

I have also read somewhere that existing customers (who haven't upgraded) will be automatically switched to the new Sky Broadband Unlimited on 1st September...

      Re: The new package

I am really confused with this. I currently pay Sky 83.50pm (48.50 for the Mixes I want + 10 Multiroom + 10 HD Pack + 15 Sky Unlimited).

Now that Sky Unlimited has reduced to 12.50, I'm trying without success to "renew" my Sky Unlimited option only, so that my monthly bill becomes 81.00 (2.50 less than it is now, following the reduction to the broadband unlimited cost).

However, I can see no option anywhere to "renew" my contract and get the lower price. If I click the "add Broadband unlimited" option for 12.50, my "new" monthly cost shoots up to 125.85 ?!!

Am I missing something obvious .. if I do nothing, will I simply get the new 12.50 cost automatically, or have I got to press something to do it myself, if so, where and how do I do it as I cannot see any obvious option!

      Many thanks!

That is what I did and it correctly added mine, but in your case you are already on the unlimited product so perhaps that is why it is adding it. Your best bet is to call them and do it over the phone.

I guess I will have to, but everything seems to point to you being able to do it on-line, and doesn't explain really why my bill shoots up from 83.50 by 42.35 to 125.85! Not the end of the world, will ring them to get it sorted, it's just frustrating that the on-line account management is rather temperamental and doesn't work!
