Thumbs down websites that dont work!

I'm starting to worry.

Sites I and probably others using Sky cannot access:

www.sigmachat.com
www.cnn.com

I don't wanna be the one calling Sky to say the above sites can't be accesed, God help anyone else that decides to give them a call about this. Can you imagine trying to explain it to them, they'll probably say "is your pc on".

I'm on the Sky Broadband Max 16Mb option (getting about 10Mb) and was connected today.

I can't access www.quidco.com - a site I used regulary when I was with Pipex.

Quidco say that my ISP is located outside the UK and therefore won't work with the site (which relies on locations from the ISP to track on-line purchases).

I've done a whois for my ip - it comes up with this:

OrgName: RIPE Network Coordination Centre
OrgID: RIPE
Address: P.O. Box 10096
City: Amsterdam
StateProv:
PostalCode: 1001EB
Country: NL

isp located outside uk

I've tried to access www.quidco.com just now having been connected to SKY BB MAx today. It's a site I use regularly at work and at home (I was with Pipex).

The site tried to throw me out because it thought I am outside the UK.

Their administrator's been in touch saying that "it looks like your internet hosting may be routing you through an external IP "

Has anyone else had problems like this ?

Like others I can't access CNN.com
