      Got my phone service back around 20:00hrs But no mention on the Sky site at all .....my 12 months will be up soon I do not like being with an out of control system .....The telephone system is a Service not a Toy like Sky TV ( Ha ha this will get you biting)

      I'm having the same slow issues. Yes I am on lousy connect as well. I'm used to how slow it normally is, but this is a new level of slow. It's been like this all day and usually hums along until 5PM. I need to just quit being a cheap ******* and pay the 49 pounds to switch to ADSL24 so I can enjoy unthrottled broadband.

      But FYI phone service isn't a toy, which is why it is a legal requirement under OFCOM regulations that a) every property in the country has access to / ability to order a working phone line and b) the provider restore any loss of service within 48 hours. Other such regulations are in place mainly because it is considered a human right to have garunteed access to 999 in the event of an emergency.

      I would but ADSL24 isn't available in my area. Sky should make exceptions for those who can't get it due to it not being available in their area. They should give us a faster, more stable 8meg connection or something. I'd be quite happy with a 2meg connection without throttling.

      I also may be moving back to the US in July so I don't want to go through the hassle of switching just for two months. If I end up staying, I will definitely switch to ADSL24.
