      Just a quick update. Still no changes from 9215 as the connection speed at the moment. Should I be contacting customer services because I cant see any reason its still stuck so low for the connection speed. I'm definitely outside the 10 day training period now.

      Hi have a look at your My Sky and see if DLM is still running
      I'm definitely outside the 10 day training period now.
      It sometimes takes more than the 10 days

      All that's needed now is a call through to sky (08442 410515) and have the line uncapped. Time to play the guessing game - based on those new stats, I'd give a conservative guesstimate at 18.5mbps or so. Then again, I wouldn't be too surprised if you pushed out the full 20mbps.

      That's what we are hoping for the full 20meg experience as we got about 13-14meg with be a good deal further from the exchange. By the way these stats are all through the telephone extension socket so fingers crossed when I work out a way to route some ethernet cables through to the living room from the master bedroom.

      Sadly at the moment it isnt an option as the master socket is ideally located in an awkward spot in the master bed room of our flat and the extension socket in the living room is the only place we can place the Xbox 360 and PS3 and connect them by Ethernet cable. However, once we work out a reasonable way to wire up the box in the bedroom and the consoles in the living room it will be done to get that last bit from the line.

      Move the router to the master socket and then use homeplugs and switch to run the ethernet to the whole house.
